Mary Jo Lewis Named to List of "Hospital and Health System Leaders to Know"
Mary Jo Lewis, CEO of HighPoint Health System, a four-hospital system headquartered in Gallatin, Tenn., has been named to the Becker's Hospital Review’s list, "291 Hospital and Health System Leaders to Know," which recognizes individuals leading prominent American healthcare organizations.
“Armed with impressive accomplishments, extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry, these men and women continue to guide their respective organizations through change and innovation,” said the editors of Becker’s Hospital Review when publishing the list on the company’s Web site. “Leaders were selected for inclusion on this list based on nominations, inclusion in previous Becker's Hospital Review lists and research conducted by the Becker's editorial team.”
Lewis was included in Becker’s Hospital Review’s list of “50 Women Hospital & Healthcare Leaders” in November 2010, for outstanding leadership within the hospital and healthcare industry, after she took the helm of HighPoint Health System as its CEO in September 2010.
