FAQ

Where is your office?
In the past, we provided therapy in our Reston, VA office. But due to COVID-19 and the necessity for social distancing, we now serve all of the Commonwealth of Virginia with our Virtual Platform.
Do you accept insurance?

Insurance companies often have red tape and policies that negatively impact their clientele, which is the last thing someone should have to deal with when they’re seeking help.

For that reason, we are an out-of-network provider. We don’t bill directly to insurance companies, but will provide a receipt with which people can often receive some reimbursement.

How can I know which of your services is right for me?

We offer a one-time, free 15-minute phone consultation for anyone who might need services.

If you’d like to discuss your options, call the number in our contact section or email us at at gregory.adams@familywellnessgroup.com.

What are the fees for services?

Hourly rates vary depending on the clinician and the service provided. We recommend you schedule a 15-minute phone consultation to discuss this and any related matters.

How do I make an appointment?

Give us a call (703) 732-6426 or write us at gregory.adams@familywellnessgroup.com.

We look forward to hearing from you!

How do I know if Family Wellness Group has a therapist that will be a good fit for me?

The short answer to this question is: you don’t, and neither do we.

That’s why we offer a free 15-minute phone consultation for people interested in therapy to see if we can match them up with a therapist that’s appropriate for their needs. If not, we’ll refer you to another therapist in the area that is a better fit, and we won’t charge you anything.

I’m concerned that my therapist will try to “push” me too hard or try to get me to participate in some kind of treatment I’m not comfortable with. Will that happen?

No, it won’t. We work collaboratively with all our clients; and you will not only set your own goals for treatment, but also the pace.

We ask that you listen to our feedback with an open mind, but the last thing we want to do is keep you from actively participating in therapy.
